Vijay Renames MK Stalin's Breakfast Scheme

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has expanded the MK Stalin government's Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme, renaming it the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme. The initiative now covers an additional 15.30 lakh students up to Class VIII in 15,454 schools, with an allocation of Rs 217.63 crore, bringing the total cost to Rs 724 crore. तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम.के. स्टालिन ने अपने 'मुख्यमंत्री नाश्ता योजना' का नाम बदलकर 'पेरुंथलाइवर कामराज नाश्ता योजना' कर दिया है। अब यह योजना कक्षा 8 तक के 15.30 लाख अतिरिक्त छात्रों को 15,454 स्कूलों में कवर करेगी। इसके लिए 217.63 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं, जिससे कुल खर्च 724 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। इस कदम से कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के स्वामित्व को लेकर राजनीतिक बहस छिड़ गई है।
