Indian Box Office Shatters Records, Surpassing ₹4,000 Crore in Q2

PVR INOX reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue, EBITDA, and PAT for Q2 FY27, driven by strong film performances and increased customer spending. The company's revenue reached ₹2,133 crore, a 17% rise year-on-year, with EBITDA up 44% and PAT soaring 111%. A record 46.3 million viewers attended PVR INOX cinemas, and average ticket prices increased by 14%. Overall Indian gross box office collections exceeded ₹4,000 crore for the first time in a single quarter, reaching ₹4,443 crore.
