Gurgaon Leads Haryana in New Voter Applications After High Deletions

Gurgaon has recorded the highest number of new voter applications (Form 6) in Haryana, with 39,985 applications submitted. This comes after the district saw the highest percentage of voter deletions during the special intensive revision of electoral rolls. Election officials are actively processing 5,882 pending applications and conducting door-to-door visits to ensure eligible voters are included. Special camps are being organised, particularly on weekends in urban areas, to assist voters.

गुरुग्राम ने हरियाणा में नए मतदाता आवेदन (फॉर्म 6) में सबसे ज़्यादा 39,985 आवेदन दर्ज किए हैं। यह तब हुआ है जब जिले में मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन संशोधन के दौरान सबसे ज़्यादा प्रतिशत में मतदाताओं के नाम हटाए गए थे। चुनाव अधिकारी 5,882 लंबित आवेदनों पर सक्रिय रूप से काम कर रहे हैं और योग्य मतदाताओं को शामिल करने के लिए घर-घर जाकर जांच कर रहे हैं। मतदाताओं की सहायता के लिए विशेष शिविर आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं, खासकर शहरी इलाकों में सप्ताहांत पर।
