Man Arrested For Raping 10-Year-Old Girl

Mormugao police arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl. The survivor's mother reported that the accused lured the child to his residence on Monday night under the guise of providing food. He then allegedly assaulted her, causing injuries and preventing her from screaming. An FIR has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Goa Children's Act, and Pocso Act. The accused has been remanded to two days of police custody as the investigation continues.

मोरमुगाओ पुलिस ने मंगलवार को एक 10 साल की बच्ची से कथित तौर पर रेप करने के आरोप में एक आदमी को गिरफ्तार किया। बच्ची की मां ने बताया कि आरोपी सोमवार रात को खाना देने के बहाने बच्चे को अपने घर ले गया था। उसने कथित तौर पर बच्ची के साथ मारपीट की, जिससे उसे चोटें आईं और वह चिल्ला भी नहीं पाई। भारतीय न्याय संहिता, गोवा बाल अधिनियम और Pocso Act के तहत FIR दर्ज की गई है। जांच जारी रहने के कारण आरोपी को दो दिन की पुलिस हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
