Four passengers sustained injuries when a tanker collided with a BEST bus on Mumbai's Eastern Express Highway early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at the Chheda Nagar signal around 6 am after the bus driver braked suddenly to avoid a motorcyclist. A tanker then crashed into the bus's right side, shattering windows and injuring commuters with glass splinters. Two women were taken to Rajawadi Hospital, while others received on-site or private treatment. Police are investigating the accident, which follows other recent BEST bus collisions in the city.
