Indian IT Firms Face Muted Q2 Growth Amid Tight Client Budgets

Economic Times Markets · stocks

India's top IT companies are projected to report subdued revenue growth and stable margins for the July-September quarter. Analysts anticipate only a 0.5-1 per cent quarter-on-quarter growth, with little improvement from the previous period due to cautious client spending and long decision cycles. While bookings are expected to remain strong, their conversion into revenue will likely take longer. Companies are also navigating investments in AI and passing efficiency gains to clients, impacting margins. Key IT firms like TCS, HCLTech, and Infosys will announce their results starting October 8.
