CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal has written to Sonia Gandhi requesting the rally be held after Diwali or moved to an alternative location like Burari Maidan. Traders argue the rally falls during the crucial Diwali business period. The area around Ramlila Maidan, within a 5km radius, includes major markets like Chandni Chowk and Connaught Place, which see daily business worth ₹10,000-12,000 crore.
