Gas Leak Sparks Fire at IIT Bombay Hostel, Injuring Five, Including Two Children

A gas leak from a cylinder pipe caused a fire at Hostel Number Six on the IIT Bombay campus in Powai night. The incident, reported around 10:25 PM, resulted in injuries to five individuals, including two children. Four of the injured were transferred to Kasturba Hospital, while one remains at Rajawadi Hospital. Emergency services, including police and BMC staff, responded promptly to the scene. The injured have been identified by age and name.

आईआईटी बॉम्बे के पवई कैंपस में हॉस्टल नंबर छह में रात को सिलेंडर पाइप से गैस लीक होने के कारण आग लग गई। रात करीब 10:25 बजे रिपोर्ट की गई इस घटना में दो बच्चों सहित पांच लोग घायल हो गए। घायलों में से चार को कस्तूरबा अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जबकि एक को राजावाड़ी अस्पताल में रखा गया है। पुलिस और बीएमसी कर्मचारियों सहित आपातकालीन सेवाओं ने तुरंत घटनास्थल पर प्रतिक्रिया दी। घायलों की पहचान उनकी उम्र और नाम से की गई है।
