₹17 Crore Hashish Oil Seized In Tuticorin

Police in Tuticorin seized hashish oil valued at ₹17 crore and arrested four men attempting to smuggle it to the Maldives. Acting on intelligence, officers intercepted the consignment which had been transported by car from Coimbatore. Separately, 3.4 kg of hydroponic ganja worth ₹1.2 crore was seized from a passenger arriving from Kuala Lumpur at Chennai Airport. Both seizures were made under the NDPS Act, with investigations ongoing to trace the sources and international syndicate members.

तूतुकुड़ी पुलिस ने 17 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य का हशीश तेल जब्त किया और मालदीव तस्करी की कोशिश कर रहे चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया। खुफिया जानकारी के आधार पर, अधिकारियों ने कोयंबटूर से कार द्वारा लाए गए कंसाइनमेंट को रोका। अलग से, चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट पर कुआलालंपुर से आए एक यात्री से 1.2 करोड़ रुपये का 3.4 किलोग्राम हाइड्रोपोनिक गांजा जब्त किया गया। दोनों जब्तियां NDPS Act के तहत की गईं, और स्रोतों और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सिंडिकेट के सदस्यों का पता लगाने के लिए जांच जारी है।
