Colorado Woman Protects 18,484 Acres of Family Ranch
Times of India - India · india
Susan Nottingham has permanently protected 18,484 acres of her family's historic Nottingham Ranch in Colorado from development. The ranch, once listed for $100 million, will remain privately owned and continue agricultural operations under a conservation easement. Nottingham's parents spent over 60 years building the property into one of Colorado's largest working cattle ranches. She decided against selling to developers who intended to divide the land and sell its resources, opting instead to preserve her family's legacy and agricultural heritage.
