Odisha Govt Invites Bids For Rural Road, Bridge Projects In Flood-Hit Districts

The Odisha government has initiated the process to repair and construct rural roads and bridges in the flood-affected districts of Balasore and Bhadrak. Online bids will be accepted for approximately 10 major road projects and one bridge project, with an estimated total cost of Rs 71.42 crore. These infrastructure improvements aim to enhance rural connectivity and transportation in areas impacted by heavy rains and floods. The projects, funded under schemes like Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana, are expected to be completed within nine to twelve months.

ओडिशा सरकार ने बालासोर और भद्रक के बाढ़ प्रभावित जिलों में ग्रामीण सड़कों और पुलों की मरम्मत और निर्माण की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। लगभग 10 बड़ी सड़क परियोजनाओं और एक पुल परियोजना के लिए ऑनलाइन बोलियां स्वीकार की जाएंगी, जिनकी अनुमानित कुल लागत 71.42 करोड़ रुपये है। इन बुनियादी ढांचा सुधारों का उद्देश्य भारी बारिश और बाढ़ से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में ग्रामीण कनेक्टिविटी और परिवहन को बढ़ाना है। मुख्यमंत्री सड़क योजना जैसी योजनाओं के तहत वित्त पोषित इन परियोजनाओं के नौ से बारह महीने के भीतर पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।
