Delhi Police has summoned CJCP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka for questioning in connection with the Jantar Mantar protest case. The duo appeared at the crime branch office after receiving the summons. Previously, in October, police had also sent them notices, but they sought more time. The case involves their alleged intrusion into Jantar Mantar, which is no longer a designated protest site. Both leaders were previously held in judicial custody for a week before being released on bail after furnishing personal and bail bonds.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने जंतर मंतर विरोध प्रदर्शन मामले में पूछताछ के लिए सीजेसीपी नेताओं सौरव दास और आशुतोष रंका को बुलाया है। समन मिलने के बाद दोनों क्राइम ब्रांच ऑफिस पहुंचे। इससे पहले अक्टूबर में भी पुलिस ने उन्हें नोटिस भेजे थे, लेकिन उन्होंने और समय मांगा था। मामला जंतर मंतर में उनकी कथित घुसपैठ से जुड़ा है, जो अब विरोध प्रदर्शन की निर्धारित जगह नहीं है। दोनों नेताओं को पहले एक हफ्ते की न्यायिक हिरासत में रखा गया था, जिसके बाद व्यक्तिगत और जमानत बांड भरने पर उन्हें जमानत पर रिहा कर दिया गया था।
