Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) has replaced medicine covers after instructions printed in Hindi caused controversy, with many criticising it as a violation of Tamil Nadu's two-language policy. DMK leader T.R.B. Raja highlighted the issue, sharing a photo of covers with instructions in Tamil, English, and Hindi. A CMCH official stated the covers were supplied by Chinthamani Cooperative Society and were replaced with new ones containing only Tamil and English. The hospital serves a large number of outpatients daily, including many migrant workers.

कोयंबटूर मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्पिटल (CMCH) ने हिंदी में छपे निर्देशों पर विवाद होने के बाद दवा के कवर बदल दिए हैं। कई लोगों ने इसे तमिलनाडु की द्विभाषी नीति का उल्लंघन बताया है। DMK नेता टी.आर.बी. राजा ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया और तमिल, अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में निर्देशों वाले कवर की एक तस्वीर साझा की। CMCH के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि कवर चिंथमणि कोऑपरेटिव सोसाइटी द्वारा सप्लाई किए गए थे और उन्हें तमिल और अंग्रेजी वाले नए कवर से बदल दिया गया है। अस्पताल में रोजाना बड़ी संख्या में आउट पेशेंट आते हैं, जिनमें कई प्रवासी मजदूर भी शामिल हैं।
