The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has discovered multiple establishments illegally drawing water from Sunnam Cheruvu. During a significant operation on Saturday, HYDRAA forces located and removed numerous pipelines that had been secretly installed into the lake from various buildings in the Guttala Begumpet area. These large hoses were connected to pump sets within residential buildings and concealed underground to evade detection. HYDRAA utilized heavy machinery to unearth the pipelines and trace them back to their origins, preventing further unauthorized water diversion.
