A 90-year-old Holocaust survivor, Eva Geller, who was injured in the December 14, 2025, mass shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach, has died nearly a year after the attack. Geller, who was among approximately 40 people wounded, passed away on Thursday night in a Sydney hospital. The attack, which claimed 15 lives, was carried out by two gunmen allegedly inspired by the Islamic State group. Geller's death comes as legal proceedings continue against the surviving gunman, Naveed Akram, who faces multiple charges including murder and terrorism.
