A state-level special campaign, 'Swachhata Hi Seva–2026', was launched in Mandya district, Karnataka. Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Commissioner Fauzia Tarannum B. urged citizens to make cleanliness a daily habit, emphasizing it as a collective responsibility. The campaign promotes waste segregation at source, composting wet waste, and scientific disposal of dry and recyclable waste. Officials are strengthening waste management facilities to convert waste into resources.

कर्नाटक के मांड्या जिले में 'स्वच्छता ही सेवा–2026' नाम का एक खास अभियान शुरू हुआ है। ग्रामीण पेयजल और स्वच्छता विभाग की कमिश्नर फौज़िया तरन्नुम बी. ने लोगों से कहा कि वे सफाई को अपनी रोज़ की आदत बनाएँ, क्योंकि यह सबकी सामूहिक ज़िम्मेदारी है। इस अभियान में कचरे को अलग करना, गीले कचरे से खाद बनाना और सूखे व रीसाइकिल होने वाले कचरे का सही निपटान करना शामिल है।
