12-Year-Old Girl Dies After Eating Chowmein and Ice Cream at UP Temple Fair

A 12-year-old girl has died in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj district after allegedly consuming chowmein and ice cream at a fair near a temple. Tanu Srivastava visited the Maa Chamunda Devi temple with her family and ate food from the fair. She later became unwell, experiencing vomiting, and was declared dead at a local hospital. Officials suspect a piece of food may have obstructed her airway, potentially blocking her windpipe while she was vomiting. A post-mortem examination is pending to determine the exact cause of death.

उत्तर प्रदेश के कासगंज जिले में एक मंदिर के पास लगे मेले में चाउमीन और आइसक्रीम खाने के बाद कथित तौर पर 12 साल की एक बच्ची की मौत हो गई। तन्नू श्रीवास्तव अपने परिवार के साथ माँ चामुंडा देवी मंदिर गई थीं और उन्होंने मेले से खाना खाया था। बाद में वह बीमार पड़ गईं, उन्हें उल्टी हुई और स्थानीय अस्पताल में उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। अधिकारियों को संदेह है कि खाने का कोई टुकड़ा उनके गले में फंस गया होगा, जिससे उल्टी के दौरान उनकी सांस की नली अवरुद्ध हो गई हो। मौत का सही कारण जानने के लिए पोस्टमार्टम का इंतजार है।
