Formula One's 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix will unusually take place in Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit, located nearly 6,000 kilometres away. The race was initially scheduled for Bahrain in March but was cancelled alongside the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to Iran's attacks on both nations. Sepang was chosen as a replacement venue to mitigate significant revenue losses for Formula 1 and its teams.
