India's Indigenous Bullet Train Design Ready, First Rollout Expected by May 2027

The design for India's indigenous bullet train, B-28, has been completed, with the first train expected to be rolled out by May 2027. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the progress after inspecting the Aditya plant at Bharat Earth Movers Limited in Bengaluru. The design has successfully passed a crucial squeeze test, which is vital for trains operating at high speeds. Following integration with interior furnishings and climatic condition tests, the train will undergo trials on a dedicated track in Bengaluru before moving to Surat for further testing.

भारत की स्वदेशी बुलेट ट्रेन, B-28 का डिज़ाइन पूरा हो गया है, और पहली ट्रेन के मई 2027 तक आने की उम्मीद है। रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने बेंगलुरु में भारत अर्थ मूवर्स लिमिटेड के आदित्य प्लांट का निरीक्षण करने के बाद यह जानकारी दी। डिज़ाइन ने एक महत्वपूर्ण स्क्वीज़ टेस्ट पास कर लिया है, जो तेज़ गति से चलने वाली ट्रेनों के लिए ज़रूरी है। इंटीरियर फिटिंग और क्लाइमेटिक कंडीशन टेस्ट के बाद, ट्रेन बेंगलुरु में एक समर्पित ट्रैक पर ट्रायल से गुज़रेगी, फिर आगे की टेस्टिंग के लिए सूरत जाएगी।
