Ghaziabad Transformer Explodes During Repair, One Dead

One person died and two others were injured after a transformer exploded during repair work in Ghaziabad's Nehru Nagar on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Niyalbul Hasan, 35. The injured, Deepak Sharma and Mohammad Ikrar, were referred to a hospital in Delhi. An inquiry has been initiated by Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited to determine the cause of the malfunction. Police are awaiting a formal complaint from the families of the victims.

गाजियाबाद के नेहरू नगर में बुधवार को मरम्मत के दौरान एक ट्रांसफार्मर फटने से एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई और दो घायल हो गए। मरने वाले की पहचान 35 वर्षीय निहाल-उल-हसन के रूप में हुई। घायलों, दीपक शर्मा और मोहम्मद इकरार को दिल्ली के एक अस्पताल में भेजा गया। पश्चिमंचल विद्युत वितरण निगम लिमिटेड ने खराबी के कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस पीड़ितों के परिवारों से औपचारिक शिकायत का इंतजार कर रही है।
