A recent Talent500 survey reveals that Indian technology professionals are increasingly prioritizing employers offering hands-on artificial intelligence (AI) experience and clear career paths. Global capability centres (GCCs) are now the preferred next career move for 69% of respondents, surpassing Indian product companies and IT services firms. While 71% desire AI upskilling, only 29% report their employers provide it. Career growth remains a significant concern, with 87% deeming clearly defined paths very important. The findings suggest GCCs can leverage career clarity to attract experienced tech talent.
