Kerala Rains: Two Dead, One Injured in Idukki

Torrential rains caused widespread damage and multiple landslips across Kerala's Idukki district on Sunday evening. Two residents, Balakrishnan and Chinnu, died in Kottakkamboor when a mudslip struck their makeshift shed. Balakrishnan's wife, Mariyamma, sustained serious injuries. Several houses were damaged, and roads were inundated, disrupting connectivity. District authorities banned adventure tourism and night travel in hilly areas due to the severe weather conditions.
