Loan Recovery Agent Murdered Over Rs 2 Lakh Debt in Madurai

A recovery agent in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, was allegedly murdered by a man he was trying to recover a Rs 2 lakh loan from. The agent, Prem Kumar, had reportedly paid the final installment himself due to company pressure. When he asked the debtor, M. Kalidas, for the money back, an argument ensued. Kalidas then allegedly attacked Prem Kumar with a sharp weapon, killing him instantly. The accused buried the body and attempted to destroy evidence, but was later apprehended by police after reviewing CCTV footage.
