He stated that student leaders from Bangladesh supporting the movement are anti-national and wish for PM Modi's downfall. Adhikari asserted that the rule of law is established in India, and any attempt to oust the PM must be through elections, which he believes are out of reach for TMC. He also predicted further decline in TMC's political standing in upcoming civic polls.

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने ममता तृणमूल कांग्रेस की कोलकाता में नियोजित विरोध मार्च की आलोचना की है, इसे 'डीप स्टेट षड्यंत्र' बताया है जो कुछ भी हासिल नहीं करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि आंदोलन का समर्थन करने वाले बांग्लादेश के छात्र नेता राष्ट्र-विरोधी हैं और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के पतन की कामना करते हैं। अधिकारी ने जोर देकर कहा कि भारत में कानून का शासन स्थापित है, और प्रधानमंत्री को हटाने का कोई भी प्रयास चुनावों के माध्यम से होना चाहिए, जो उनके अनुसार टीएमसी की पहुंच से बाहर है। उन्होंने आगामी नगर निगम चुनावों में टीएमसी की राजनीतिक स्थिति में और गिरावट की भी भविष्यवाणी की।
