Jantar Mantar Loses Protest Tag; CJP Founder Warns of Democracy's Demise

Delhi Police have denotified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site, a move that has drawn sharp criticism from Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke. Dipke warned that the government's decision would not silence dissent, stating that the spirit of resistance cannot be taken away. He asserted that the dictator's problem was with the idea of people protesting, not just the location. Alternative protest sites named include Ramlila Maidan and Burari Ground. The decision comes amid heightened security in the capital.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने जंतर मंतर को विरोध स्थल के तौर पर चिन्हित करना बंद कर दिया है। कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के संस्थापक अभिजीत डीपके ने इस फैसले की कड़ी आलोचना की है। डीपके ने चेतावनी दी कि सरकार का यह फैसला विरोध की आवाज़ को दबा नहीं पाएगा और कहा कि विरोध की भावना को छीना नहीं जा सकता। उन्होंने कहा कि तानाशाह को लोगों के विरोध करने के विचार से दिक्कत है, न कि सिर्फ जगह से। विरोध के लिए रामलीला मैदान और बुराड़ी ग्राउंड जैसे वैकल्पिक स्थलों के नाम बताए गए हैं। यह फैसला राजधानी में बढ़ी हुई सुरक्षा के बीच आया है।
