Forest Officer Caught Accepting Bribe In Ramanagara

A Deputy Range Forest Officer, Rajashekariah, was apprehended by the Lokayukta police in Ramanagara for allegedly accepting a ₹30,000 bribe. The complaint stated the officer demanded the money to issue a permit for cutting teak trees. Following the complaint, the Lokayukta team set a trap and caught the officer red-handed. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act, and further investigation is ongoing.

रामनगर में लोकायुक्त पुलिस ने डिप्टी रेंज फॉरेस्ट ऑफिसर, राजशेखरैया को ₹30,000 की रिश्वत लेते हुए पकड़ा है। शिकायत के मुताबिक, अधिकारी सागौन के पेड़ काटने की अनुमति देने के लिए पैसे मांग रहा था। शिकायत के बाद लोकायुक्त टीम ने जाल बिछाया और उसे रंगेहाथों दबोच लिया। भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आगे की जांच की जा रही है।
