India has climbed nine spots to secure 31st position globally on the Travel and Tourism Development Index, an achievement attributed to its cost-competitive travel environment and rich cultural heritage. Japan leads the index, followed by the US, Spain, Australia, and France. The World Economic Forum report highlights India's strong performance, noting rapid improvements in tourism infrastructure and business travel resources. भारत ट्रेवल एंड टूरिज्म डेवलपमेंट इंडेक्स में 9 स्थान ऊपर चढ़कर 31वें नंबर पर आ गया है। यह भारत के सस्ते सफर और शानदार सांस्कृतिक विरासत की वजह से हुआ है। जापान इस लिस्ट में सबसे ऊपर है, उसके बाद अमेरिका, स्पेन, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और फ्रांस हैं। वर्ल्ड इकोनॉमिक फोरम की रिपोर्ट में भारत के अच्छे प्रदर्शन की तारीफ की गई है, खासकर टूरिज्म इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और बिजनेस ट्रैवल में सुधार पर जोर दिया गया है।
