NDTV Sports · sports

Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has expressed disappointment with Abhishek Sharma's batting performance during a recent match, stating it was "not acceptable by his standards." Sharma's dismissal was particularly notable given the context of the Indian team's strong home record in T20 series. India has not lost a T20I series at home since 2019. The Shreyas Iyer-led side is now facing the possibility of losing a home series as they head into the fifth T20I against West Indies.
