Indian Railways Exports First 18-Coach LHB Train To Bangladesh

Indian Railways has exported the first batch of 18 broad-gauge LHB passenger coaches to Bangladesh Railway as part of a 200-coach order. These specially designed coaches, built at Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala, include seven variants such as AC and non-AC chair cars and sleeper coaches. The new coaches feature passenger-friendly amenities like CCTV surveillance, baby care rooms, prayer rooms, and reclining seats. They also incorporate a crashworthy design meeting European standards and reinforced roofs to accommodate passengers travelling on top during peak times.

भारतीय रेलवे ने 200 कोच के ऑर्डर के तहत बांग्लादेश रेलवे को 18 ब्रॉड-गेज एलएचबी यात्री कोचों की पहली खेप निर्यात की है। कपूरथला की रेल कोच फैक्ट्री में बने ये खास डिज़ाइन वाले कोच सात तरह के हैं, जिनमें एसी और नॉन-एसी चेयर कार और स्लीपर कोच शामिल हैं। नए कोचों में सीसीटीवी निगरानी, बेबी केयर रूम, प्रेयर रूम और रिक्लाइनिंग सीटों जैसी यात्री-अनुकूल सुविधाएं हैं। इनमें यूरोपीय मानकों को पूरा करने वाला क्रैशवर्दी डिज़ाइन और पीक समय के दौरान ऊपर यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के लिए मजबूत छत भी शामिल है।
