Northrop Grumman's Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft recently fired its engines to boost the International Space Station's orbit to a higher altitude. This maneuver, performed while docked to the Unity module, ensures the station is in the correct position. The orbital shift is necessary to prepare for the upcoming arrival of the Progress 96 resupply spacecraft next week.
