Pakistan-Based X Account Spreading Fake News About Rahul Gandhi Banned In India

An X (formerly Twitter) account operating under the name Anushi Tiwari Indian, which spread fake news and inflammatory content, has been banned in India. The account falsely claimed that Delhi Police fired shots during a protest, injuring Rahul Gandhi, and that 13 people died in police firing. Investigations revealed the account was Pakistan-based and had previously spread misinformation during the BRICS summit. The ban was initiated by the Indian government following continuous monitoring by security agencies.

अनुशी तिवारी इंडियन नाम से चल रहा एक X (पूर्व में ट्विटर) अकाउंट, जो फर्जी खबरें और भड़काऊ सामग्री फैला रहा था, भारत में बैन कर दिया गया है। अकाउंट ने झूठा दावा किया था कि दिल्ली पुलिस ने एक विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान गोलीबारी की, जिसमें राहुल गांधी घायल हो गए, और पुलिस की गोलीबारी में 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई। जांच में पता चला कि यह अकाउंट पाकिस्तान-आधारित था और पहले भी BRICS शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान गलत सूचना फैला चुका था। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों द्वारा लगातार निगरानी के बाद भारत सरकार ने यह बैन लगाया है।
