Telangana CM Asks Officials to Continue Dialogue with Maharashtra on Tummidihatti Barrage Project

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed irrigation department officials to maintain a good rapport and continue dialogue with the Maharashtra Government regarding the proposed Tummidihatti barrage. He emphasized the need for comprehensive details on submerged areas and the exchange of all relevant documents and agreements. The Chief Minister assured that Telangana is prepared to compensate for lands submerged in Maharashtra and deposit funds into a joint account. He also stated that Telangana will not object to Maharashtra conducting its own land submergence survey, urging timely information sharing.

तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री ए. रेवंत रेड्डी ने सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे प्रस्तावित तुमिडीहट्टी बैराज के संबंध में महाराष्ट्र सरकार के साथ अच्छा तालमेल बनाए रखें और बातचीत जारी रखें। उन्होंने जलमग्न क्षेत्रों के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी और सभी संबंधित दस्तावेजों और समझौतों के आदान-प्रदान की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि तेलंगाना महाराष्ट्र में जलमग्न भूमि के लिए मुआवजा देने और एक संयुक्त खाते में धनराशि जमा करने के लिए तैयार है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि तेलंगाना महाराष्ट्र को अपनी भूमि जलमग्नता सर्वेक्षण करने पर आपत्ति नहीं करेगा, और समय पर जानकारी साझा करने का आग्रह किया।
