Andhra CM Naidu Announces Cyclone Relief Package; Disbursal Begins Today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced a compensation package for those affected by Cyclone Arnab, with relief disbursal set to begin on Thursday. The state government will provide ₹5 lakh ex gratia for cyclone-related deaths and financial aid for damaged houses, shops, and vehicles. Fishermen and weavers will also receive assistance for damaged equipment and property. The CM has requested central assistance and a central team assessment from the Union Home Minister.

आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री एन चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने चक्रवात अर्नाब से प्रभावित लोगों के लिए मुआवजे की घोषणा की है, और राहत वितरण गुरुवार से शुरू होगा। राज्य सरकार चक्रवात से संबंधित मौतों के लिए ₹5 लाख की अनुग्रह राशि और क्षतिग्रस्त घरों, दुकानों और वाहनों के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करेगी। मछुआरों और बुनकरों को भी क्षतिग्रस्त उपकरण और संपत्ति के लिए सहायता मिलेगी। सीएम ने केंद्रीय सहायता और केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री से केंद्रीय टीम के मूल्यांकन का अनुरोध किया है।
