A child suffering from rapidly progressive acute liver failure underwent a successful living-donor liver transplant at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Navi Mumbai. His condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to neurological complications and requiring urgent intervention. The child's mother donated a part of her liver, with the entire donor evaluation and regulatory clearance process completed in approximately 48 hours. The 10-hour surgery was performed by a multidisciplinary team, and the child spent about 50 days in the hospital before recovering and returning home.

नवी मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन धीरूभाई अंबानी हॉस्पिटल में एक बच्चे का सफल लिविंग-डोनर लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट किया गया, जो तेजी से बढ़ रहे एक्यूट लिवर फेलियर से पीड़ित था। उसकी हालत तेजी से बिगड़ गई, जिससे न्यूरोलॉजिकल समस्याएं होने लगीं और तत्काल हस्तक्षेप की आवश्यकता पड़ी। बच्चे की माँ ने अपने लिवर का एक हिस्सा दान किया, जिसमें डोनर मूल्यांकन और नियामक मंजूरी की पूरी प्रक्रिया लगभग 48 घंटों में पूरी की गई। 10 घंटे की सर्जरी एक मल्टीडिसिप्लिनरी टीम द्वारा की गई थी, और बच्चा ठीक होकर घर लौटने से पहले लगभग 50 दिन अस्पताल में रहा।
