Times of India · politics

BJP minister Dilip Ghosh has criticised the ongoing anti-SIR protests in Delhi, alleging they are influenced by foreign funding and anti-national forces. Ghosh described protests as a 'fashion' among certain individuals lacking work, suggesting they become pawns for external elements. He also targeted former CM Mamata Banerjee, who is in Delhi, implying her attempts to stay relevant in national politics are futile after being rejected by Bengal voters. Union minister Sukanta Majumdar echoed criticism, comparing Banerjee's presence in a police vehicle to past events.
