Kanhaiya Kumar, a prominent face of Congress's student politics and the NSUI organization in-charge, was notably absent from Rahul Gandhi's recent Supreme Court protest. His social media activity has also ceased. This absence comes after a review meeting with Rahul Gandhi following the NSUI's poor performance in the Delhi University Student Union elections. The elections saw the ABVP win three out of four central panel seats, with an independent candidate, who was a rebel from NSUI, also securing a victory.
