Nestle India Shares Fall After FSSAI Legal Action

Nestle India shares dropped nearly 3% on Friday after the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) initiated legal action. The FSSAI cited alleged non-compliance with regulations regarding promotional claims for its NAN Excella Pro Stage 1 and Lactogen Pro 1 infant nutrition products. Additionally, a sample of a follow-up formula was found to be sub-standard for biotin content. Three adjudication cases have been filed against Nestle India concerning these issues.

शुक्रवार को Nestle India के शेयर लगभग 3% गिर गए। वजह ये है कि FSSAI ने कंपनी के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। FSSAI का कहना है कि Nestle India ने NAN Excella Pro Stage 1 और Lactogen Pro 1 जैसे बच्चों के पोषण उत्पादों के प्रचार में नियमों का पालन नहीं किया। साथ ही, एक सैंपल में बायोटिन की मात्रा कम पाई गई। इन मामलों में Nestle India के खिलाफ तीन केस दर्ज किए गए हैं।
