Centre Allocates Five Lakh Houses To Andhra, Telangana

The Union government has allocated five lakh houses to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under the 'Housing for all' initiative. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar stated that Andhra Pradesh received an additional 2.25 lakh houses, bringing its total to three lakh, while Telangana received 1.21 lakh more, reaching two lakh. The government aims for transparent beneficiary identification and completion of houses within two to three years, utilizing technology like the PMAY-G Plus app.

केंद्र सरकार ने 'सबके लिए आवास' योजना के तहत आंध्र प्रदेश और तेलंगाना को पाँच लाख घर दिए हैं। केंद्रीय मंत्री पेम्मासानी चंद्रशेखर ने बताया कि आंध्र प्रदेश को 2.25 लाख अतिरिक्त घर मिले, जिससे कुल तीन लाख हो गए। वहीं, तेलंगाना को 1.21 लाख और घर मिले, जो कुल दो लाख तक पहुँच गए। सरकार PMAY-G Plus ऐप जैसी तकनीक का उपयोग करके दो-तीन साल में घरों को पूरा करने और लाभार्थियों की पहचान में पारदर्शिता का लक्ष्य रखती है।
