Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission Issues Show-Cause Notices to 93 Training Providers

The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has issued show-cause notices to 93 training providers for failing to commence skill development programmes. Of these, 62 centres have been inactive for three years, and 31 reported zero progress in six months. These providers were allocated targets to train youths aged 14-35 for wage and self-employment. They have been given seven working days to submit written explanations, with failure to respond leading to one-sided action. The mission aims for a 70% placement target for trained candidates.

उत्तर प्रदेश स्किल डेवलपमेंट मिशन (UPSDM) ने कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम शुरू करने में विफल रहने पर 93 प्रशिक्षण प्रदाताओं को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किए हैं। इनमें से 62 केंद्र तीन साल से निष्क्रिय हैं, और 31 ने छह महीने में शून्य प्रगति की सूचना दी है। इन प्रदाताओं को 14-35 वर्ष के युवाओं को मजदूरी और स्वरोजगार के लिए प्रशिक्षित करने के लक्ष्य आवंटित किए गए थे। उन्हें लिखित स्पष्टीकरण जमा करने के लिए सात कार्य दिवस दिए गए हैं, जवाब न देने पर एकतरफा कार्रवाई की जाएगी। मिशन का लक्ष्य प्रशिक्षित उम्मीदवारों के लिए 70% प्लेसमेंट का लक्ष्य है।
