EPFO Wage Ceiling Raised To ₹25,000

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has increased its wage ceiling from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month. This revision expands mandatory social security coverage under EPF, EPS, and EDLI schemes. Approximately 51 lakh additional workers are expected to benefit from this significant change. The move aims to bring more individuals into the formal social security net, ensuring broader protection and contributions for a larger segment of the workforce.

ईपीएफओ वेतन सीमा ₹25,000 तक बढ़ी

कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (EPFO) ने अपनी वेतन सीमा ₹15,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹25,000 प्रति माह कर दी है। इस बदलाव से EPF, EPS और EDLI योजनाओं के तहत सामाजिक सुरक्षा का दायरा बढ़ेगा। इससे करीब 51 लाख और कर्मचारियों को फायदा होने की उम्मीद है। इसका मकसद ज़्यादा लोगों को औपचारिक सामाजिक सुरक्षा जाल में लाना है, ताकि ज़्यादा श्रमिकों को सुरक्षा और योगदान मिल सके।
