Singer Mika Singh has demanded an apology from Uttarakhand cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal for publicly reprimanding his brother, Daler Mehndi, at a recent event. Uniyal had approached the stage during Mehndi's performance and loudly questioned if the singer was drunk. Mika stated that the minister should be grateful to Mehndi for stepping in after another artist fell ill, thereby saving the event. He urged the Uttarakhand Chief Minister to intervene, emphasizing that veteran artists deserve respect and dignity, not humiliation.

गायक मिका सिंह ने उत्तराखंड के कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल से उनके भाई दिलेर मेहंदी को हाल ही में एक कार्यक्रम में सबके सामने डांटने के लिए माफी मांगी है। उनियाल मेहंदी के प्रदर्शन के दौरान मंच पर आए थे और जोर से पूछा था कि क्या गायक नशे में है। मिका ने कहा कि मंत्री को मेहंदी का शुक्रगुजार होना चाहिए कि उन्होंने एक अन्य कलाकार के बीमार पड़ने के बाद कार्यक्रम को बचाया। उन्होंने उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री से हस्तक्षेप करने का आग्रह किया और जोर देकर कहा कि अनुभवी कलाकारों को अपमानित नहीं, बल्कि सम्मान और गरिमा मिलनी चाहिए।
