Delhi Police May Allow Flag March, Anthem Amid Connaught Place Curbs

Delhi Police indicated a conditional nod for a select group to carry the national flag and sing the anthem during the CJP proposed march. This comes amid restrictions in Connaught Place and the closure of Central Park by NDMC. Police cited prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to maintain law and order. They warned against violating these orders, stating legal action would be taken. Any permitted gathering must adhere to strict rules for the national flag and anthem.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने सीजेपी द्वारा प्रस्तावित मार्च के दौरान चुनिंदा समूह को राष्ट्रीय ध्वज ले जाने और राष्ट्रगान गाने के लिए सशर्त मंजूरी का संकेत दिया। यह कनॉट प्लेस में प्रतिबंधों और एनडीएमसी द्वारा सेंट्रल पार्क को बंद करने के बीच आया है। पुलिस ने कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता (बीएनएसएस) की धारा 163 के तहत निषेधाज्ञा आदेशों का हवाला दिया। उन्होंने इन आदेशों का उल्लंघन करने के खिलाफ चेतावनी दी और कहा कि कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। किसी भी अनुमत सभा को राष्ट्रीय ध्वज और राष्ट्रगान के लिए सख्त नियमों का पालन करना होगा।
