Adult T. Rex Footprints Reveal Walking Gait

Paleontologists have discovered the first connected trackway of a fully grown Tyrannosaurus rex, revealing how the dinosaur moved. Found in North Dakota's badlands, the four footprints measure about 3 feet long with 13 feet between steps. This rare find, dated to 66.5 million years ago, suggests the T. rex was walking at approximately 3.5 to 4.5 mph. Researchers used 3D scanning technology to digitally recreate and analyze the tracks without causing damage.
