Two Lithuanian women, Karisha and Kristina, who quit their jobs for an extended India trip, shared their experience on the Vande Bharat Express. Karisha described the platform rush to board and secure luggage as akin to 'The Hunger Games' but found the train journey comfortable and safe. She noted that while the bathrooms were clean, they had an unpleasant smell. Despite the initial boarding chaos, she felt the 10-hour journey in the first AC coach was 'worth every penny' and preferred it over non-AC trains for safety.
