Saudi Arabia's coalition forces intercepted multiple ballistic missiles and drones launched by Yemen's Houthis towards Riyadh and southern cities on Sunday. Explosions were heard in the capital after a missile was destroyed. This comes as operations resumed at King Khalid International Airport, which had been closed after deadly Houthi attacks earlier this month. The Houthis warned airlines against using the airport, calling it a military target. Saudi civil defence also responded to falling debris in Mecca and Medina, though the Houthis denied targeting these holy cities.
