However, the IT major's profit and revenue figures fell short of market expectations. The company's board also announced an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share.

विप्रो का अप्रैल-जून तिमाही का नेट प्रॉफिट पिछले साल के 3,330 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में थोड़ा बढ़कर 3,352 करोड़ रुपये हो गया। यह 0.6% की मामूली बढ़ोतरी है। हालांकि, कंपनी के मुनाफे और कमाई के आंकड़े बाजार की उम्मीदों से कम रहे। कंपनी के बोर्ड ने 2 रुपये प्रति शेयर का अंतरिम डिविडेंड भी घोषित किया है।
