Bengaluru Property Tax Revisions Reach 37,216 Cases

The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has revised property tax in 13,253 cases this financial year, bringing the total revision cases to 37,216. Previously, over 23,000 properties were issued notices for incorrect details. While ₹190.92 crore was targeted from last year's identified cases, only ₹12.32 crore has been collected so far. Bengaluru West leads in both revision cases and recovery amounts. This intensified enforcement aims to bolster revenue for the new corporations.

ग्रेटर बेंगलुरु अथॉरिटी (GBA) ने इस वित्तीय वर्ष में 13,253 प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स के मामलों को ठीक किया है, जिससे कुल संशोधन मामले 37,216 हो गए हैं। इससे पहले, 23,000 से ज़्यादा प्रॉपर्टी को गलत जानकारी के लिए नोटिस भेजे गए थे। पिछले साल के मामलों से ₹190.92 करोड़ जुटाने का लक्ष्य था, लेकिन अब तक सिर्फ़ ₹12.32 करोड़ ही वसूले गए हैं। बेंगलुरु वेस्ट में सबसे ज़्यादा संशोधन मामले और वसूली हुई है। नई कॉर्पोरेशनों के लिए आमदनी बढ़ाने के लिए यह सख्ती की जा रही है।
