Karnataka Cabinet Approves ₹12 Crore AI Centre

The Karnataka Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Raichur. The project has an outlay of ₹12 crore, to be spent over five years. This initiative aims to foster advancements in AI research and development within the state.

कर्नाटक कैबिनेट ने रायचूर के इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इन्फॉर्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी (IIIT) में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) के लिए एक सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस (Centre of Excellence) स्थापित करने को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस प्रोजेक्ट पर पाँच सालों में ₹12 करोड़ खर्च होंगे। इसका मकसद राज्य में AI रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट को बढ़ावा देना है।
