US Deploys Stinger Missile Systems Around Trump's Florida Estate

Times of India · world

The United States has deployed Avenger short-range air defence systems armed with Stinger missiles around former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The deployment, requested by the US Secret Service, aims to protect against potential aerial threats like drones and low-flying aircraft. Systems were positioned at multiple locations, including a floating platform, a beach, and near an airport. This measure follows concerns over airspace violations, with over 160 aircraft and drones reportedly breaching restricted airspace in the area since October 2025.
