Zoho Founder Warns Engineers About AI Over-reliance

Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu has cautioned engineers against excessive dependence on artificial intelligence for software development. He advised using AI tools while retaining personal understanding of the work, responding to a post about a company using AI for nearly all development tasks. Vembu expressed concern that the industry is adopting AI coding tools rapidly without fully grasping their implications, likening it to driving a car one barely understands.
